What is Eona?

How does allocated gold work?

Allocated gold means specific physical gold bars, or a recorded share in grams of an identified bar, are allocated to you and recorded to you by bar serial number. Unallocated gold, by contrast, is a general claim against a bank or dealer rather than specific metal.

With allocated gold: You own the physical metal outright. Your metal is recorded separately from Eona's own assets. It is stored with an independent vault operator, Loomis, which maintains insurance under its own policy.

Bars are investment-grade (minimum 999 fineness for silver, 999.9 for gold), from Emirates Minting Factory, an RJC-certified UAE refinery, approved under our supply-chain due diligence policy, and are stored with Loomis in Dubai. The vault operator, Loomis, maintains insurance under its own policy. We do not promise that it covers clients directly or in full. Client holdings are subject to daily automated reconciliation with the vault operator's records.

Once your account is verified, send a bank transfer from your registered bank account, choose your metal and amount, and confirm the order at the price shown on the platform.

No. We do not offer delivery or collection of physical metal. You realise the value of your metal by selling it back to us.

Yes. Your metal is allocated to you against identified bars and recorded to you in our register by each bar's serial number. Loomis holds the bars in Dubai in an account in EONA's name, separate from EONA's own metal.

The vault operator, Loomis, maintains insurance under its own policy. That policy is arranged by Loomis for its own purposes, and we do not promise that it covers you or your metal directly or in full.

Prices are based on the international spot price of the metal from a professional market-data provider. You buy at the spot price + 0.50% and sell at the spot price − 0.50%, plus any daily adjustment, and a 1.00% commission applies to each purchase and sale. Sale proceeds are paid to your registered bank account once the sale has been settled. How long the transfer takes to arrive also depends on your bank.
